For import/export, the Port of Miami has served as a vital gateway for the U.S. and the Americas. From South Florida the world is reached for all forms of cargo shipping.

RoRo and LoLo facilities. Both roll-on roll-off and load-on load-off categories of freighter are served as well as container ships and other heavy cargo requirements.

The facilities include operators Seaboard Marine, the South Florida Container Terminal and the Port of Miami Terminal Operating Company handling the bulk of materials passing through the port.
